Etched glass is a bespoke upgrade offer by Timber Composite Doors, and is a popular way to display the house number or name in top boxes and side panels. You can also choose to have an etched border, for example to match the 'Victorian' glass design if you have picked this for the door.
Numbers and letters are usually etched out in clear on a satin backed unit, although you can also choose to have a clear backing glass with a satin frosted etching. This is a great way to add a stylish touch to your door, and gives a real wow factor!
Etched units are charged at approximately £120 including VAT. The default font is 'Baskerville Bold', but you can choose any font you want. If you order an etched unit, you will be sent a scaled proof once the order is processed for you to check and sign off.
