When two becomes one – it can be this good

“When two become one”, is one of those phrases normally associated with “marriage” or a “Spice Girl” song, dependent on your age, but it is certainly NOT a phrase that is normally associated with the installation of new front doors from Timber Composite Doors. This recent installation by Timber Composite Doors could however be about to change the way we think and utilise that phrase forever – take –

Two adjoining properties each with their very own completely different front doors each of which is ready for renewal.

  • The centre mullion on the right of the left photograph and the left of the right photograph is common to both doors

“The door itself is much better than Everest and Anglian – who only have foam-filled composite doors, whereas these are timber-filled composite doors. So they are more solid and secure – despite what Everest and Anglian (and others) may claim. ” Janak Rajani, July 2018.

Add two sets of neighbours with a shared vision of what they want from their new front doors – call the aforementioned Timber Composite Door and invite them to turn the vision into a reality- but lets not make it easy – throw in the fact that the doors are located in a “period” recessed entry alcove with ornate floor tiling and decorative brick/stonework add in a requirement for a centre mullion , glazed panels over each of the doors, plus the odd obstruction in the form of electric/gas meters and pipes/ cables located very close to the door frame and not to forget to make it all look really stylish and visibly attractive in keeping with the existing façade of the properties.

In other words – not quite the most forward of installation’s.

As that other well-known saying goes “a picture paints a thousand words” (or in this case a photograph) take another look at that photograph at the head of this article and we at Timber Composite Door reckon that our installation teams have done us proud. An observation in which we are not alone as one of the property owners Mr Janak Rajani took the time to provide a review to TRUST PILOT we have taken the liberty of re printing the TRUST PILOT notification below (it’s also already on our web site) because we are rather pleased with Mr Rajani’s comments and it is always nice to have your efforts to please appreciated

Great company – patient, professional and thorough – would recommend!

We had a complicated set up as our flat’s front door shares a door frame with our neighbour flat’s front door.

Timber Composite Door (via Martindales – a sister company who did the install) did not rush the job and did an excellent job installing – they spent all day doing it. I was very impressed.

The door itself is much better than Everest and Anglian – who only have foam-filled composite doors, whereas these are timber-filled composite doors. So they are more solid and secure – despite what Everest and Anglian (and others) may claim. When I asked them directly about it – they said they do not do timber doors, to which I asked why they keep telling potential customers they are the safest and strongest doors! It is all just marketing and sales – foam-filled doors are substandard products! Timber-filled are much better.

Good customer service and well thought out payment structure – small deposit, 50% before install (of remaining) and 50% after install (of remaining).

I would recommend them as an all round good company.

Timber Composite Doors are part of the GFD Group of companies and our Group philosophy is to always give the customer the very best of quality in both product and service that they are entitled to except, which means we do not “close the door” on any sale until it is completed to the satisfaction of the customer. Clearly, we have succeeded in fulfilling our philosophy for Mr Rajani and we could do the same for you, it only takes a visit to our web site or a call to one of our Sales Team and we can make your vision of your new front door come true
