When a change of colour is not an option

The majority of our customers at Timber Composite Door are looking for a new door in a new style a new colour and with new glazing and accessory options – but for some of our customers such radical change is not an option. A recent example of a client who chose well when choices were limited is M/s G of Kent – her home is very stylish with Mock Tudor beams picked out in dark wood stain with windows in matching dark wood so although Timber Composite Doors could have provided a door in anyone of seventeen colours the majority of them would have looked quite simply wrong – we have some nice colours but Rich Aubergine or Anthracite or even the sophisticated Chartwell Green would have been wrong. M/s G opted to exchange her existing sunburst dark wood stained door for a new Tenby 4 glazed panel door in Rosewood which with the clean lines of new chrome door knocker , handle and letter plate was all that was needed to create a stunning new front entry to her home. The completed photographs of M/s G ‘s home with her new Tenby door look so authentic and original as if the chosen door was made for and had always been part of the home and that’s a compliment to both M/s G’s taste and the quality of the Timber Composite Door Installation team .

The Tenby standard pattern is a six panel door where the lower two panels are solid and the upper four panels glazed but if you are a little more security conscious or require a little more privacy, we also offer a version of the door where only the top two panels are glazed. A door as stylish as the Tenby does not rely on glazing to complete its appearance but that is not a reason why we should not select the best of matching glazing and as with all of our doors there is a terrific selection of leaded, obscures and coloured options to do the terrific Tenby proud.

The one thing that caught our eye here at TCD when we were reviewing the before and after photographs is the positioning on the wall of the flowerpot which we believe holds Viola’s and Ivy – amazingly it is undisturbed in the same place in both photographs – our installers have precise instructions to put the customer’s needs and the care of the customers property as a priority are good but we do not expect them to stage manage their photographs but it shows they care for your property –
