Ultion

News release to fixture –

It seems like it was longer than a couple of months but back in October we announced the arrival of the Ultion lock in our article – Sheds that keep spiders out and Doors that keep out intruders – the lock in question being the one illustrated below –

As Security conscious as we are here at GFD HQ neither we nor our door supplier Solidor could have anticipated the public demand for this new lock – we know that this new lock has created quite a stirring in our industry with many manufacturers offering it as an option -increased security should be a priority with everyone and this lock certainly delivers in that respect -for that very reason –

The New Year will bring a big bonus to all of our customers

Come January 2016 this lock will be installed as a standard rather than an option on all Solidor doors purchased from

Timber Composite Doors

Why is this lock so good the easiest way to find out is to visit the manufacturers own Lock Advisor web site which will give you all the information you require – such as

Of all the locks that have achieved 3 star anti-snapping TS007 status all but three still fail within a minute the Ultion is one of only three that have achieved the Master Locksmith Association (MLA) Ultimate Solid Secure Diamond Test ( a team of experienced locksmiths are let loose with tools of their choice to crack the lock –after two and a half hours the Ultion stood firm)

The key features of the lock are –

  • Ultion offers double snap resistance
  • When attacked the Ultion instantly goes into ‘Lockdown Mode’
  • Stays snap secure even with a key in the inside of the lock
  • Some locks have 5 pins, others have 6, Ultion has 11
  • Ultion protects against Lock Drilling
  • Ultion protects against Lock Bumping
  • Ultion protects against Lock Picking

Everyone who purchases a Solidor door from Timber Composite Door from January 2016 can be assured of greater security with the addition of The Ultion lock as a standard fitment – the perfect lock to grace the perfect door – why not make next year the year you finally change your front door with styles and colours as good as this how can you resist-

Have a great 2016 –

Lest we forget if you are a DIY kind of person who only wants to change their locks rather than their door a visit to our sister company site Eurosecure will provide you with everything you need to know about locks and security – including the Ultion.
