Composite doors glass designs to grace any door

These are just four of the dozens of glass designs available when you choose your door from Timber Composite Doors these examples are some of the more complex which are guaranteed to look superb when you select any one of them for your new front door.

As we offer so many stunning styles we have to ensure that we can supply the quality of glazing accessories that enhance rather than detract from the quality of the finished door. The displaying of sample glass is always a problem simply because glass is a transparent medium and is incredibly difficult both to photograph and to display graphically on our web site pages.

We always try to give the best portrayal we can and we place recommendations on our web pages for the benefit / information to our customers –

“Some glass designs let you choose the backing glass, which lets you pick the obscurity on the inside of the “double glazed” unit. Designs that do not offer this are either triple glazed or have an etched film for obscurity. Satin glass is a customer favourite and our recommended choice for Italia doors.”

Take the four examples we have used above – they all look obscure and two of them are, in as much as the external glass provides the obscurity required, so they that is the “Elegance” and the “Simplicity” can be backed with clear glass. However, the “jewel” and the “trio square sea green” may look obscure but they have translucent front patterned glass and obtain their obscurity from the backing glass, which is why when you pick either of these styles or a number of others our “door designer “ directs you to pick one of eighteen possible obscure/patterned backing glasses.

As part of the Timber Composite Doors web site experience we offer our customers the opportunity to design their own door, pick their own frame, their own door and their choice of glazing and accessories, which is easy if you only have a single door and frame. It gets a little more complicated if you have matching side or overhead panels but all the required frame options are available on the door web site and when it comes to selecting the glass if you are matching it with door glazing be sure to check which pane is clear and which is obscure if you want to make sure that there is no opportunity for prying eyes to look through your side screens.

If you are experiencing any difficulty whatsoever in choosing your glass from the web site and you are concerned as to the level of obscurity please feel free to call us and ask for confirmation or ask us for a sample of your choice, which we will be pleased to provide at no cost to yourself, we want all of our customers to have the door they want and we do not want minor misunderstandings to cause either party any avoidable concern.
