Innovation and Technology AwardGFD Ltd that’s our registered name as the parent company of the GFD group of companies has just scooped the FIRST PRIZE in the prestigious Hartlepool Business Awards -Innovation and Technology section – so that means that if you are one of our Global. Fusion, Trade Village, Timber Composite Door or Composite Door Prices customers you can be assured that you are talking to a company that is going places.

GFD Ltd is now into its sixth year of trading all of which have shown steady and continuous growth against a very difficult economic background, we recognise from where we as a company have come we know where we now are and more importantly we know where we want to go.

This business was founded on the following marketing mantra.

“Innovate, educate, support, cultivate, evaluate & innovate again”

That’s the way we intend to continue a “Risk and Reward” approach – in our short history we have tried to change the way “on line sales” are presented –

We do not do static flat and frankly boring

We do interactive, user friendly, navigable, beautifully photographed and realistically presented in fact everything to make the customer experience different including simplifying and automating all of the background tasks so as to add “peace of mind” to our customers experience.

We have dared to be different and this award from Hartlepool Business Awards we believe is recognition of our approach – to illustrate our point – some words from our presentation –

Evolution takes generations to achieve –

Innovation does not happen overnight it takes time and trial and error and learning from both your own errors and those of your peers

Technology is constantly changing and it is the ability to be selective and know what works for your industry that will benefit your company aspirations

 

GFD are never going to be at the forefront of some earth shattering discovery that will change the course of civilisation, but what we do as a company we do exceedingly well and we can say with confidence that within our field we use the best available Technology to innovate and continuously improve our service to our customers at every level.

Our approach has always been that we did not simply wish to be recognised as a door re seller as such we have now developed our software to such an extent that it can easily be modified to fit varying specifications we have already developed into windows, sliding windows, bi-fold doors and garage doors and we have designs upon expanding our portfolio of products within the coming years.

This recognition of our efforts by Hartlepool Business Awards will we hope be only the first of many on our route to providing an “on line” service for the sale of a multitude of construction related products.
